Ann Arbor Police Roll Out Live Crime Dashboard; Crime Drops 8% in 2025

This week, Ann Arbor’s police force launched a Public Transparency Dashboard online. The system shows crime fell 8% last year while giving people quick access to safety stats.

The web tool updates weekly with incident reports dating to 2021. Users can check crime stats by area – from single wards to the whole city – and track patterns across different times and dates.

“Our goal is to provide the community with clear, accessible information about public safety in Ann Arbor,” said Chief Andre Anderson, according to Country Herald. “Transparency is essential to building trust, and this dashboard is another way for community members to see the data that guides our work every day.”…
