New Dorsey Estates Brings Affordable Homes and Community to Ypsilanti Residents

On October 22, 2025, the City of Ypsilanti, Michigan, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Dorsey Estates, a new residential development at 220 Park Street. The project converted a vacant parcel in Ypsilanti’s historic district into a neighborhood with 46 townhomes, cottages, and duplexes. The site is within walking distance of Depot Town, offering convenience for residents.

Dorsey Estates was developed through a partnership involving Renovare Development, the City of Ypsilanti, the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA), Washtenaw County, and the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation.
