DTE Energy‘s push to fast-track the electricity deal for a massive, 1.4 megawatt data center in Saline Township is eliciting concern from residents and environmental groups that say more time is needed to ensure the project doesn’t saddle other customers with additional costs.
DTE’s contracts contain a provision that allows the customer to terminate the deal if it is not approved by Dec. 5, 2025, DTE spokesperson Jill Wilmot told Planet Detroit.
