WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI – The Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners passed a resolution Wednesday to take control of the sheriff’s Human Resources Department, a move criticized by the sheriff.
Commissioners voted nearly unanimously during its regular Dec. 3 meeting to move four HR positions in the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office under county administration, saying there has been reports of widespread misconduct in the department.
