All clear given at Wyandot Middle School in Clinton Township, 911 caller said explosive devices had been planted

(WWJ) Clinton Township police have given the “all clear” after someone called the Macomb County Communications and Technology Center’s 911 system and said explosive devices had been planted inside Wyandot Middle School.

Police officers were at the school on Garfield Road near 17 Mile just before 8 a.m. where they helped evacuate students and school workers with the help of the school resource officer and school administrators.

Students were taken to Chippewa Valley High School. Most students were picked up at the high school by their parents, but others were taken back to the middle school and released from there, according to district spokeswoman Diane Blain…
