Ann Arbor, MI – Emergency crews in Ann Arbor responded Wednesday morning after a carbon monoxide alarm alerted residents to dangerous gas levels inside a building on Green Brier Blvd, prompting a rapid evacuation and safety response.

According to the Ann Arbor Fire Department, Ladder 1-5 arrived at 7:24 a.m. after reports of a CO alarm sounding in the 3000 block of Green Brier Blvd. Firefighters detected elevated carbon monoxide inside the structure and traced the source to a boiler system.
