His group may be a cappella, but Seggie Isho has been thumping the drum for Straight No Chaser to return to the Detroit metro area after a seven-year absence.
“Historically, Detroit was never a huge market for us, so getting back is great for me, selfishly,” says baritone Isho, who resides in Rochester with his wife and two children. “But I think there is a market here for us. It’s just about remaining consistent on coming back every year, trying to grow the fan base.
“So, yeah, I’m excited to be back. Hopefully, this is the start of an annual return to Detroit from now on.”…
