LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Mich. (WILX) – The Livingston County Veterans Services Office is urging community members to use caution when donating to organizations that claim to support veterans.
Officials report an increase in fraudulent groups posing as legitimate nonprofits that promise financial assistance, housing, food, and other benefits for veterans in need. In many cases, these organizations are not legitimate.
