Ypsilanti rep aims to ‘claw back’ $100M grant for Los Alamos, University of Michigan project

YPSILANTI TWP., MI – A new bill is aiming to rescind a $100 million grant meant to help University of Michigan in its project partnership with Los Alamos National Laboratory.

“(There’s) a lot of other things we could be using this $100 million for,” said Michigan Rep. Jimmie Wilson Jr. (D-32), who introduced the bill on Thursday. “This data center is not one of those.”
