PONTIAC – A judge has dismissed the City of South Lyon’s beef with its own Zoning Board of Appeals over a Wendy’s restaurant that wanted to operate a second drive-thru lane.
It may be a moot point, as owner Rick Sefton closed the restaurant last month at 440 S. Lafayette St., saying he was tired of fighting with the city.
“I’ve battled for a year and a half and I am kind of tapped out,” Sefton said on Dec. 15, adding there is perhaps a “25% to 30% chance” he could return. “I don’t want to be where I am not wanted.”…
