Federal authorities have charged two men with a sophisticated ATM theft scheme known as “ATM jackpotting,” a method that forces ATMs to dispense cash on command.

Court records show Geniver Antonio Pinuela Testa and Robert Rosales Rivero are accused of stealing large amounts of cash from bank ATMs across Michigan and Minnesota between September and October 2024.
