What began as a conversation at a “Stuff the Blue Goose” toy drive event turned into a special Christmas mission for Michigan State Police troopers across the state.
The mission: Bring Christmas cheer to Vialah, a 2-year-old girl from Ironwood fighting cancer and spending the holidays in an Ann Arbor hospital.
The 9-hour journey began Monday morning at the MSP Wakefield Post and ended at Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor. Separated into three legs, troopers from MSP Eighth (Wakefield and St. Ignace posts) and Second districts contributed.
