Ann Arbor high-rise could be hotel, offer short-term rentals with zoning change

ANN ARBOR, MI — Proposed zoning changes for a downtown Ann Arbor high-rise could allow the building to be used for short-term rentals or as a hotel in the future.

But for the foreseeable future, it may continue operating as The Brady luxury-branded apartments.

“We’d be foolish to stop what we’re doing right now at this point,” said Steven Kalabat, one of the owners who converted much of the building from offices to apartments in recent years…
