ANN ARBOR, Mich. (WXYZ) – In an incredible act of holiday kindness, three Michigan state troopers drove 600 miles to deliver Christmas gifts to a 2-year-old girl battling cancer at a hospital more than nine hours from her home.
Vialah White was diagnosed with Stage 4 neuroblastoma in September, just two days before her 2nd birthday. She is being treated at Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor, more than nine hours away from her home in Ironwood, a city in the Upper Peninsula.
“She’s in a lot of pain for the most part, but surgery has been set to remove the tumor in her stomach,” said Amy Colt, Vialah’s grandmother.
