Deal for 35-home development on tree-filled site gets Ann Arbor’s OK

ANN ARBOR, MI — Ann Arbor officials have OK’d a deal for a 35-home development on a tree-filled site that’s been the subject of debate and legal dispute for years.

City Council voted unanimously Monday night, Jan. 5, to approve the development agreement for the project known as The Enclave of Ann Arbor at 2857 Packard Road.

It’s still contingent upon approval of the site plan by City Planning Manager Brett Lenart, who said it’s being reviewed in keeping with council-stated priorities of protecting landmark trees…
