Sparrow unveils Narcan vending machines

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The University of Michigan Health–Sparrow is expanding access to lifesaving Narcan by installing free vending machines at its Carson and Clinton community hospitals.

The move is part of a broader effort to reduce overdose deaths amid the ongoing opioid epidemic. Community leaders and recovery advocates say wider access to Narcan, a medication that can reverse opioid overdoses could mean the difference between life and death.
