WESTLAND – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle near the intersection of Newburgh and Ford roads and police are asking people who might have witnessed the crash to come forward.
A 67-year-old Westland man was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which happened at about 6:36 p.m. Jan. 12, according to Westland police.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation, police added, noting that drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash…
