Canton Man Dies After Being Pinned Under Snow Plow in Southfield Parking Lot, No Foul Play Suspected

A tragic incident in Southfield claimed the life of a 28-year-old Canton man, who died after becoming pinned beneath a snowplow he had been servicing. The Southfield Police Department confirmed the fatality occurred around 4:30 p.m. last Friday in the parking lot of a Kroger store located at West 12 Mile and Evergreen Rd., as reported by ClickOnDetroit.

Emergency responders who arrived at the scene found the man trapped under his vehicle, however, the severity of his injuries made it impossible to save him. The loss comes just days after a major snowstorm swept through the Metro Detroit area, heightening the demand and inherent risk associated with snow removal.
