Former Michigan Running Back Changes Mind, Will Return to Ann Arbor

Michigan’s running back room may be getting a familiar face back after a brief flirtation with the transfer portal.

Former walk-on Bryson Kuzdzal, who entered the portal earlier this offseason, is expected to withdraw his name and return to Ann Arbor, according to a source who spoke with WolverinesWire on the condition of anonymity.

Pressed into action due to injuries to Jordan Marshall and Justice Haynes, Kuzdzal made the most of his chance. He rushed for 100 yards in his first career start against Maryland and finished the season with 326 yards and four touchdowns on 76 carries.
