YPSILANTI, MI – Housing affordability and environmental protections were among the concerns raised by a packed house of Ypsilanti residents Wednesday as they urged local officials to address community needs in the Water Street Redevelopment Area.
More than 50 residents filled the meeting room Wednesday, Jan. 28, at Ypsilanti City Hall. The gathering was designed to look for people to serve on an ad hoc committee that will work on identifying what kind of community benefits the redevelopment should bring.
