NORTHFIELD TWP., MI – A man driving the wrong way on U.S. 23 Sunday morning was killed in a head-on crash.
Rescue crews were called at 6:15 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, to northbound U.S. 23 at Territorial Road in Northfield Township for a report of a two-vehicle crash, according to the Michigan State Police.
The preliminary investigation shows a 1993 Jeep Cherokee, driven by a 58-year-old Brighton man, was going south in the northbound lanes of the freeway when it crashed head-on into an oncoming 2009 Chevy Silverado pickup, police said…
