Quix Chocolate announced plans to open a new retail location in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor before the summer of 2026. The new shop will be located at 107-109 E. Liberty St., in the former Kilwins Chocolates space.
The Ann Arbor location will feature the Ferndale-based company’s signature Michigan-made Belgian chocolates and confections, alongside Illy coffee, Guernsey ice cream, milkshakes, and the brand’s own hot chocolate, creating a year-round destination for downtown residents, students, and visitors.
“Starting up in Ferndale, we’ve always believed strongly in community and providing a welcoming happy experience,” says David Ogloza, founder of Quix Chocolate. “We want people that eat our chocolate, to have a moment of joy. We’re excited to bring a Michigan-made product to downtown Ann Arbor and aim to fill the void with a local offering that Kilwins was once known for.”…
