When the Main Street park was first announced, the idea was shared openly throughout all of Chelsea, and people were excited. But as time went on, the buzz around the park quickly died down, and soon many people forgot about it or just didn’t care.
“I’ve heard a little bit about it, not that it’s fun, but enough to know that it’s supposed to be kind of a big deal,” freshman Eliot Storer said.
The only well-known thing about the park is the skate park, even though there’s so much more to it: basketball courts, soccer fields, splash pads, and even a playground, just to name a few things…
