Detroit, Michigan – Loose outdoor items could be tossed and scattered by late Friday morning as wind gusts ramp up to 45 mph across Southeast Michigan, raising the risk of isolated power outages before sunset.

According to the National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac, a Wind Advisory is in effect from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. EST Friday for Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Monroe, Lenawee, Livingston, Lapeer, Genesee and Shiawassee counties.
