ANN ARBOR, MI — The family of 19-year-old University of Michigan student Lucas Mattson continues to push for answers on his death, saying it was “easily preventable.”
Lisa Mattson, mother of Lucas, provided a statement to MLive/The Ann Arbor News written by her and Lucas’ father. As police investigate how Mattson died on Jan. 24, the family is “trying very hard to stay strong,” they said in the statement.
“But it’s so hard to try and focus on all the wonderful memories when our grief is tainted by so many unanswered questions from something that was so easily preventable,” they said…
