Several major updates have been shared for the next stage of an interchange project at I-96 and Grand River Avenue near Brighton.
The project involves completely rebuilding the interchange into a diverging diamond, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation, and has already seen significant work completed.
According to a recent update on the I-96 Brighton Project Page on Facebook, despite differences in staging and the way traffic will be maintained, work this year will essentially be a mirror image of work completed in 2025.
