BRIDGEWATER TWP., MI – The owners of a historic barn known for hosting weddings hope to be able to welcome couples again as soon as next year.
A fire razed Historic Blum Barn in the early morning hours of Jan. 9, leaving just the brick foundation and rubble, said Mirela Barbu, co-owner of the event venue at 10383 E. Austin Road in Bridgewater Township.
“It was very hard to see all our hard work that we have put into it for the last 10-plus years just go down in flames in 20 minutes,” Barbu said. “Gone.”…
