Man who threatened Ann Arbor elementary school sent to psychiatric examination

PITTSFIELD TWP., MI – A man accused of posting a threatening note on the window of an elementary school will next appear in court in May after he undergoes a competency hearing.

Jules Khalfoun, 18, will undergoing psychiatric testing to determine if he can understand court proceedings, according to court records. He was sent to the testing in February by 14A-1 District Court Judge J. Cedric Simpson.
