Thunder Over Michigan returns to mark America’s 250th with high-flying tribute

YPSILANTI, MI – The Thunder Over Michigan Air Show will return this summer to commemorate America’s 250th anniversary with a three-day event featuring military demonstrations and historic aircraft at Willow Run Airport in Ypsilanti.

The show, scheduled for July 17-19, will be headlined by the U.S. Air Force F-16 Viper Demo Team featuring the F-16C Fighting Falcon, according to a news release. The event will also include performances by the U.S. Marine Corps MV-22 Osprey and P-51 Jack Aces Demo Teams, along with historic warbirds and civilian aerobatic performances.
