YPSILANTI, MI – A man who was taken into police custody after barricading himself for 30 hours with a sword in Ypsilanti has yet to appear for his first court hearing.
A 53-year-old Ypsilanti man is still facing eight felony charges after barricading himself in a home in the 1100 block of West Cross Street in January, according to court records. He has not yet been arraigned on the charge, which include four charges each of assault with a dangerous weapon and resisting and obstructing police officer.
