Whitmer appointments include officials from Lenawee, Washtenaw and Jackson areas

LANSING — Governor Gretchen Whitmer has announced a series of appointments to state boards and commissions, including several individuals from Lenawee County and nearby communities.

Among them is Cement City resident Michael Lodzinski, owner of Lodzinski and Associates, who was reappointed to the Michigan-Indiana State Line Commission. The commission oversees surveying and boundary issues along the Michigan-Indiana border.

In Milan, Dakota Aitson, a management assistant with the Washtenaw County Health Department, was appointed to the Michigan Board of Nursing. The board establishes qualifications and standards for nursing licensure across the state…
