SYLVAN TWP., MI — A judge will hear arguments for and against an embattled roadwork project that requires cutting down dozens of trees along Werkner Road just outside downtown Chelsea.
Residents Gregory Johnson and Nan Spike filed suit in February against the Washtenaw County Road Commission under the Michigan Environmental Protection Act (MEPA). Spike lives on the road, and Johnson owns property there.
