ANN ARBOR, MI — One of the most decorated Olympians in history is likely to receive an honorary degree from the University of Michigan.
Swimmer Michael Phelps is among three people recommended for honorary degrees given at the spring 2026 UM commencement, according to a UM Board of Regents action request.
