Medical supply redistribution nonprofit to host benefit gala at University of Michigan

ANN ARBOR, MI — Blueprints for Pangaea, a University of Michigan-based nonprofit that redistributes surplus medical supplies to underserved communities, will host a benefit gala from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, March 28 at the Tauber Colloquium at the Ross School of Business, 701 Tappan Ave., in Ann Arbor, according to a March 16 email.

The event will feature a multidisciplinary undergraduate research symposium and a Shark Tank-style pitch competition judged by a panel of Eli Lilly executives. The gala aims to bring together leaders from healthcare, industry and business while providing UM students an opportunity to share their work with professionals beyond the academic setting.

Confirmed speakers and attendees include Dr. Charles Reuland, chief operations integration officer at Michigan Medicine, as well as representatives and executives from Eli Lilly, the Michigan Hospital Association and additional partner organizations…
