The Chelsea Kiwanis Club was recently visited by the City of Chelsea’s Community Social Worker Emilee Fetters. Emilee provides crisis support, conflict resolution, and resource navigation services to the Chelsea School District footprint area.
In a little over a year since her position was created, Emilee has worked with hundreds of folks. She rides with police officers, is present at the Chelsea Senior Center and the Chelsea District Library for office hours. The community social worker collaborates and partners with many local and county-wide entities including Chelsea School District, Chelsea Hospital, 5 Healthy Towns Foundation, Washtenaw County Community Mental Health and more…
