Dakota Guerrant is arguably the biggest target for the Wolverines in the 2027 class. He’s an elite in-state athlete that Kylie Whittingham needs to lock down.
And the relationship between the prospect and the guy aiming to be his future head coach looks promising, especially after Whittingham got the Detroit-area player to flash the ‘M’ during a picture.

The recruiting battle for Guerrant is real and it’s nationwide. Several top programs are in the picture, including Oregon, Texas A&M, Miami and… Ohio State. So it’s important for Whittingham to make the most of these opportunities when he has the Guerrant on campus. Guerrant is expected to visit more schools over the next couple of weeks with stops at College Station and Miami on the schedule. Oregon will also get a visit in April. Both the Wolverines and the Ducks have official visits with Guerrant on the docket. He’ll take the official to Eugene on June 5 and then to Ann Arbor on June 19…
