YPSILANTI TWP., MI – Two people and their pets have been displaced by a house fire near Ypsilanti.
Crews were called around noon on Saturday, March 28, to a report of a structure fire in the 2000 block of Shelly Street, said Capt. Jerry Hamilton with the Ypsilanti Township Fire Department.
When crews arrived, they found heavy fire in the front and driveway side of the home. Officials believe the fire started in either the living room or bedroom, both in the front of the house, Hamilton said…
