2 youth centers to expand homelessness prevention, housing with $4.2M in federal funding

WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI — Two local organizations that serve youth and young adults will expand their operations to combat homelessness.

The Washtenaw County Continuum of Care (CoC) is deploying $4.2 million in federal funding to help end youth homelessness. The funding, from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development through the Youth Homelessness Demonstration Project, is renewable.
