Wisconsin randomly catches a stray during Arizona’s Final Four collapse

The Wisconsin Badgers had a random mention after the Arizona ‘no-show’ to the Michigan Wolverines. It wasn’t about the fact that Wisconsin beat that Wolverine team earlier in the season in Ann Arbor. Though that part is true, and plenty of people were mentioning it. That’s not quite random enough. It was the fact that this was Arizona’s first wire-to-wire loss since Wisconsin beat them in 2024.

Yes, Wisconsin is the only team in the nation that can look at the Final Four matchup of Arizona vs. Michigan and say. We were the last team to beat Michigan in Ann Arbor, and we were the last team to beat Arizona wire-to-wire. It may prove something about the Badgers, whether you like it or not.

This was Arizona’s largest loss since Dec. 31, 2023 😬 The Wildcats never led. It’s their first wire-to-wire loss since Nov. 15, 2024 at Wisconsin 😲 pic.twitter.com/agVeCrzYbA
