University of Michigan again makes Forbes ‘New Ivy’ list

ANN ARBOR, MI — This Michigan college is once again considered a “New Ivy” for its ability to prepare graduates for careers in an artificial intelligence (AI)-driven economy, according to Forbes’ 2026 New Ivies list released Wednesday, April 8.

The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, along with nine other colleges, was recognized as public “New Ivies” this year. The term “New Ivies” is in reference to the eight current Ivy League institutions known for their academic prestige and research excellence.
