ANN ARBOR, MI – A man was sentenced to up to 15 years in prison for striking his wife with a car while he was intoxicated.
Nicholas Elka, 39, will serve between roughly 6 and 15 years in prison in the death of 48-year-old Teea Ann Elka, who he fatally struck with a vehicle during a confrontation in 2024.
Washtenaw County Jail Trial Court Judge Carol Kuhnke, Elka’s sentencing judge, gave him credit for 584 days – or a little more than 1.5 years – already served in jail, according to court records…
