There have been several Gideon Gash updates over the past couple of weeks for Michigan State, starting with an official visit schedule that didn’t include the Spartans.
The younger brother of 2026 signee Samson Gash and current defensive back Caleb Gash is entering his senior year with Detroit Catholic Central and he just so happens to be one of Pat Fitzgerald’s primary targets in the 2027 class. As a legacy recruit, it makes sense that Michigan State would be considered an early favorite, but that idea has since been extinguished.
Gash has visits scheduled to Oklahoma, Texas Tech, and Alabama over the next month but nothing has been set in stone for Michigan State. That’s slightly concerning given his decision timeline…
