Lady Crusaders Finish 13th at NAIA Women’s Golf Championship

Ypsilanti, Mich. — The Western Christian University Lady Crusaders finished 13th at the NAIA Women’s Golf National Championship, which was shortened due to weather delays. The team posted rounds of 315, 316, and 328 over a 48-hour period.

Play began Tuesday morning at 7 a.m. under difficult conditions, with sustained winds of 20 to 30 mph. Two weather delays interrupted play, and thunderstorms forced the suspension of the second round late Tuesday afternoon. Play resumed Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. under calmer conditions and concluded later in the day.

Aidan Haithcock led WCU with a first-round 75, tying her for seventh individually before the second round.
