Nearly two years in the making, a new food hall-inspired restaurant from Fort Worth chef David Hollister will open this summer. Drinks ’N Such, a sprawling indoor-outdoor restaurant concept that blends the vibe of a sports bar with multiple food concepts, is expected to open late June or early July at 2736 Stanley Ave., in the original Carter’s Coffee space near TCU.
Drinks ’N Such will center around three separate food operations: Le Cluck, a chicken-driven concept led by Hollister; a pizza and Italian-inspired food truck manned by local chef Alex Drury; and a rotating third truck designed to spotlight whatever cuisine or food trend is having a moment.
The concept is a collaboration between Hollister, whose resume includes Wild Acre Brewing and Gas Monkey Bar N’ Grill, and partners Clayton Grunewald and Tino DeFranco of Funky Lime Hospitality, the team behind Reservoir, The Whiskey Garden and Shot:30.
