Fort Worth police investigate fatal stabbing on Lillian Street

FORT WORTH, Texas — The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a homicide following a fatal stabbing on Lillian Street.

On Saturday, May 30, 2026, at approximately 10:30 p.m., officers from the Central Division responded to an assault call at the 2400 block of Lillian Street, according to a press release from the department. Upon arrival, they found an adult male with at least one stab wound. Despite medical efforts by officers and Fort Worth Fire, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspect was not initially located, but at approximately 11:50 p.m., he approached a Fort Worth Police officer at the 2500 block of NE 28th Street, claiming he believed he had stabbed someone. The suspect was detained and returned to the crime scene for further investigation…
