Fort Worth police officer injured in crash with fleeing suspect in I-30 chase

An on-duty Fort Worth police officer was injured Tuesday night in a crash with a suspect fleeing from a Department of Public Safety trooper, officials said.

The accident took place on Interstate 30 near Oakland Boulevard. The suspect’s vehicle collided with the officer’s vehicle as it approached the exit, according to police.

The officer was taken to a local hospital and was in stable condition as of Tuesday night, police said. The officer’s name hasn’t been released…
