A major alternative to H-E-B has been rapidly expanding across Texas in recent years and that includes communities in North Texas. Sprouts Farmers Market has opened more than 20 grocery stores in Dallas-Fort Worth, with more multimillion-dollar outposts already in the works.
Known for its farm fresh produce, organic and dietary options and overall farmers market vibe, Sprouts has become a popular brand across the Lone Star State. Now the North Texas town of Anna, northeast of Dallas, is set to receive a $4.94 million Sprouts in a little over one year.
Construction is slated to begin on December 7 and is aiming to be completed by September 24, 2027, according to a Texas Department of Licensing and Registration (TDLR) filing. While a specific address hasn’t been listed, it will be located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 75 and Rosamond Drive. When finished, the store will cover more than 23,000 square feet.
