Seattle-born big-box store Costco is set to open two new warehouse locations in the Lone Star State this summer, according to its “Coming Soon” page. Where are these fresh locations landing? Here’s what to know about Costco’s Texas expansion.
Both incoming Costco outposts are reportedly set to debut in Texas by August 2026, with one store sprouting in Celina while the other makes its way into Mansfield. Each location has been in the works for about a year, as investors filed regulatory paperwork to commence work on the “new construction” projects last summer, according to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
