The most beautiful museum in America is just 30 minutes from Dallas — and it’s hosting a special two-day Fourth of July festival

This weekend, the National Medal of Honor Museum in Arlington – named one of the most beautiful museums in the entire world by Prix Versailles – is hosting a special, two-day Independence Day festival with live music, classic American fare, and a front row seat to the Light Up Arlington fireworks show.

Inaugurated in March 2025, the National Medal of Honor Museum stands as a dedicated tribute to the service members of the U.S. Armed Forces who have been awarded the country’s most esteemed military honor.

Earlier this year, reputable international design and architecture award, Prix Versailles, named the museum among the 7 most beautiful museums in the world. Notably, the National Medal of Honor Museum was the only U.S. museum to be featured on the list.

Beginning Saturday, July 4, the National Medal of Honor Museum will host Freedom Fest, a two-day Independence Day celebration featuring live music, historical screenings, and a fireworks watch party.
