Starting at 6 p.m. Saturday, people in the Dallas-Fort Worth area are encouraged to look up into the skies to see a historic flyover paying tribute to the victims of the Guadalupe River flood.
According to an alert from Highland Park, Texas, four U.S. Air Force fighter jets are scheduled to conduct a ceremonial flyover above the town at around 6:25 p.m. Other flyovers in the area are also expected, and a map can be found HERE, via The Grapevine Edit.
“The flyover will pay tribute to the lives lost in the Guadalupe River flood July 4th, 2025,” said Highland Park. “The Park Cities community was deeply affected by the loss of these lives. Six of the flood victims, part of Heaven’s 27, were from elementary schools in Highland Park and University Park.”…
